Photoshop Tutorials ... saving images to use as buttons on website

I just queried with Neil how to go about saving text for my links etc on my website, as images to use as buttons on my website. He has confirmed I will need to save them as transparent gifs and this will be fine. He also sent me 2 tutorials that I am going to have a look at now ...
